The Athletes Village in South East False
Creek was built to house the Athletes attending the Vancouver 2010
Olympics. After the 2010 Winter Games, Southeast False Creek will
eventually
become home to 16,000 people. It will have 250 affordable housing units
in its first phase, a 45,000 square foot community centre, three child
care centres, an elementary school, community garden, public plaza and
many more. There are already a lot of plans to develop the Athletes Village, for both present and future use.
